Welcome to the campsite at Hraunborgir – the perfect place for nature lovers, families and groups of friends looking for a relaxed outdoor stay.
A wonderful place for families and groups
A hidden family paradise. This peaceful, sheltered campsite offers beautiful views and numerous walking trails. There are plenty of electrical hook-ups and parking spaces, along with outdoor toilets, washing-up sinks and waste containers. A viewpoint on the hill identifies the surrounding landmarks.
Everything you need for an enjoyable stay is close at hand: a swimming pool and sauna, golf course, mini golf, children’s playground with trampoline, monkey bars, play castle and swings, basketball hoop and football goals, restaurant, country pub, TV lounge and much more.
The campsite has recently been expanded and now offers plenty of space. It is particularly well suited to family reunions and larger groups. Groups can also hire “Bryggjan”, a covered private area attached to the restaurant.
